Our Policies on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business or our business partners. The aim of the Company is to identify our responsibility by alerting staff to the risks, however small, in our business and the wider construction industry. Staff are encouraged to report concerns to management, where they are expected to act upon them.
Our anti slavery policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains. 
The company will achieve these aims by identifying and mitigating the risk in following ways (but not limited to):
  • More stringent vetting and investigation of our supply chain, (contractors, policies, contracts etc)
  • Continually audit and review our practices for checking all employees have the right to work
  • We encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle blowers
  • The company will not knowingly support or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking
  • We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking.
We provide training to all our staff and contractors on understanding the risks of modern slavery and trafficking.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking.

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we monitor ethical standards across the business on a regular basis. This activity is also supported by our Equal Opportunities Policy, and our commitments to ensuring the safety of our employees.

Whistleblowing Policy

The business also has a Whistleblowing Policy, and this can be run concurrently in line with site Grievance policies.
